PCL Direct announces its direct integration integration with Vantage Online

PCL Direct Group has announced their recent collaboration with Asolvi. The partnership has enabled PCL Direct’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ordering procedure to fully integrate with Asolvi’s system to help dealers streamline the ordering processes of PCL Direct’s remanufactured toners and other consumables to be sent directly to the end user.


Many dealers utilise Asolvi’s Vantage Online system to place orders and with the integration of PCL Direct’s EDI with Asolvi’s systems, can combine the processes of order placement, delivery, and stock monitoring for the dealer channel by creating a virtual warehouse designed for smaller orders and will make the ordering process more efficient.


How the PCL Direct Dealers benefit from the integration partnership


The system operates via an API (Application Programming Interface) link from Asolvi’s website to those dealers who order through Vantage Online and other systems. Asolvi then links to the PCL Direct EDI on-line process. Once connected, dealers can order toners and consumables and can email any further daily orders via the Asolvi link, while keeping an eye on their stock levels at the same time. Another major benefit to dealers is that the Asolvi and PCL Direct integrated system helps to identify the right consumables for each device, too, simplifying the ordering process and saving the dealers’ time.


In addition, because PCL Direct can send out orders directly to the dealers’ customers it reduces the number of manual processes required to fulfil several smaller orders, by dealers, and saves them having to keep high levels of stock at their own premises.
