PCL Direct joins the European Toner and Inkjet Remanufacturing Association (ETIRA)

We're delighted to announce that we have received our ETIRA accreditation and are now a member of this important industry body, which represents the interests of the around 1,400 remanufacturers and is the voice of the industry. We are very grateful to "The Recycler" Magazine for their article announcing the news:

In a move aimed at promoting sustainability and eco-friendliness in the office imaging industry, PCL Direct Group, a leading UK company specialising in the remanufacturing printer hardware and consumables, has joined the European Toner and Inkjet Remanufacturing Association (ETIRA).

The announcement was made by PCL Direct Group's Sales Director, Ian McIntyre, who emphasised the importance of collective action towards reducing carbon footprints and promoting responsible practices in the imaging industry.

"Joining ETIRA is a significant step for us as we seek to promote the benefits of printer hardware and consumable remanufacturing to a wider audience," said McIntyre. "As a member of ETIRA, we will be able to collaborate with other like-minded companies, share best practices and learn from each other as we work towards achieving our common sustainability goals."

ETIRA, founded in 2003, is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of European companies engaged in the remanufacturing of toner and inkjet cartridges. The association aims to promote sustainability and eco-friendliness by advocating for the benefits of cartridge remanufacturing, encouraging the development of environmentally friendly technologies and practices, and working with regulatory bodies to promote responsible waste management practices.

McIntyre added that by joining ETIRA, PCL Direct Group will have access to a wealth of knowledge, resources, and networking opportunities that will enable the company to better serve its customers while promoting sustainable business practices.

"With the global push for sustainability and eco-friendliness, there has never been a better time for companies in the imaging industry to join hands and work together towards achieving common goals," said McIntyre. "As a member of ETIRA, we are better positioned to leverage our expertise and experience in cartridge remanufacturing to drive positive change in the industry and contribute to a more sustainable future."

The move by PCL Direct Group comes at a time when the office imaging industry is undergoing significant changes, with a growing emphasis on sustainability and eco-friendliness. As more companies seek to reduce their carbon footprints and promote responsible waste management practices, joining a trade association such as ETIRA provides a platform for companies to collaborate and work together towards achieving these goals.
